Wood Care Instructions
To care for the pieces, hand wash with soapy water and towel dry. Do not soak or wash them in the dishwasher.
To care for dry wood items, we recommend Howard's Butcher Block Conditioner, any seed oil (flax or hemp, for example), or our own handcrafted Looney's Wood Restorative.

Each piece is created with great care and attention to highlight the natural beauty and character of the wood. As with all natural wood products, there will be variation in color and grain patterns which may darken over time. This variation is caused by the underlying wood tones, creating a truly unique, one-of-a-kind, functional work of art.
After each piece is carved, significant time is placed in sanding and finishing. We sand the wood with multiple grits, raise the grain with water, and do a final fine sand. To finish, a number of coats of Watco butcher-block oil is applied, an FDA-approved hardening oil. The technique and use of materials keep each piece looking and feeling smooth, even with frequent use.
