WOOD CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To care for the pieces, you can hand wash them with soapy water and towel dry. Do not soak or wash them in the dishwasher.

I handcraft each piece with great care and attention to highlight the natural beauty and character of the wood. As with all natural wood products, there will be variation in color and grain patterns, which may change over time. This variation is caused by the underlying wood tones, creating a truly unique, one-of-a-kind, functional work of art.
After each piece is carved, I devote significant time and effort to sanding and finishing. I sand the wood until it shines and glows from within. My finishing process includes using water to raise and sand the grain again. To finish, I apply a number of coats of Watco butcher-block oil, an FDA-approved, hardening oil. My technique and use of materials keep each piece looking and feeling smooth, even with frequent use.
