Just a heads up that I'll be at the Riverwalk Market for the next three Saturday mornings: 10/3; 10/10; and 10/17...Market is open from 9 AM to 1 PM. Hopefully the bees will not be as plentiful as they were last weekend! The market will be full each weekend with more than 30 vendors with all sorts of handmade arts and crafts as well as baked goods.
Fall is a great time to visit Northfield!

This weekend, I'll be in St. Paul at the Fairgrounds for the Arts and Crafts furniture show. I'll have some new pieces that I finished this summer including a dresser, live-edge benches, side tables, and a new rocking chair design. Most pieces are oak - to be consistent with the movement - but can be customized for those interested.
Received happy news that I've been accepted into three more shows this fall. I'll be at the Autumn Festival from 11/12 - 11/15 in Shakopee, MN. It's a show full of handmade goods, perfect for holiday shopping. On Friday, December 3, my wife Rachel will be selling my work at Carleton's annual Christmas sale in Northfield, MN. From December 3 - 5, I'll be at the Old Fashioned Annual Holiday Bazaar in Landmark Centre in St. Paul, MN. This is the 37th year - and I was able to get in through a wonderful twist of fate. Can't wait to do a show in this lovely space! As always, living in gratitude for all of the wonderful people that we are meeting here and opportunities that we have! ![]() We are bracing ourselves for this next weekend, the third-largest public event in Minnesota (after the State Fair and the Uptown Art Show.) Having been to both now, I anticipate that this will probably be the most pleasant! Here's the website: http://www.djjd.org Here's the deal - all day Saturday and Sunday, the Arts Guild will be hosting an arts and crafts fair. Vendors will be along the riverfront. The rest of Northfield will be consumed with the Defeat of Jesse James activities, including food, kiddie rides, and the like. We're taking it in for the first time as well. Hoping for good weather weekend! And, sharing a shot of a recent side table that I did. I will have this one (or something similar) along next weekend for those interested. Thursday, September 3 is the next "First Thursdays" event in Cannon Falls. I'll be there tomorrow night with a few pieces of furniture and my kitchen collection. It should be a beautiful, late summer evening.
